The Bue Eyed Six was written and directed by brothers Bruce and Brian Kreider. The film tells the legendary tale of six local men who conspired to drown Joe Raber for his insurance money in 1878. The murder captured the public's imagination and the trial was covered by newspapers along the east coast. Their subsequent hanging, outside what is now the Lebanon Farmers Market but was then the county prison, drew a large crowd who packed picnic lunches and sang hymns as the doomed men were led to the gallows
